The National Institute for Safety and Health at Work has launched this year 2022 theShock Plan against fatal accidents at work, in which awareness-raising actions will be developed with the aim of preventing fatal accidents at work.

The plan aims to achieve the greatest possible impact on the reduction of fatal work accidents and therefore the interventions will fundamentally be directed at priority activities, that is, those with the highest incidence rates of fatal work accidents, and which also have the largest number of exposed working population.

Throughout the entire year, in waves, they will address the specific problems of those activities in which work accidents with fatal consequences are mostly concentrated, and in addition, they will continuously launch cross-cutting preventive advice and messages to combat traffic accidents at work and those due to non-traumatic pathologies.

The priority objective of the plan is to fight against fatal workplace accidents, specifically reducing the incidence rates of this type of accident and reducing the severity of the damage caused to the health of workers. The premise is to ensure that no person loses their life in the workplace, promoting measures to achieve safe work environments that guarantee the health of workers and within the framework: "Vision zero deaths at work."

Vision Zero is the global campaign of the AISS to in favor of zero accidents, illnesses and injuries at work, in which Fraternidad-Muprespa actively participates, seeking to promote preventive culture in the organizations. At our Mutual Fund we are convinced of the importance of this new preventive approach and that is why we are already Vision Zero, and we encourage you to learn much more about this topic on our web portal Previene.
