Strengthening the purpose of improving society: III Social Responsibility Plan of Fratenidad-Muprespa

Fraternidad-Muprespa's purpose is to improve society not only through its mission of restoring the health of workers and providing economic benefits, but as a fundamental principle of corporate identity that guides its operations and strategic decision-making for stakeholders.

Under this framework, the entity has approved the III Social Responsibility Plan, which has been based both on the Adhesion to the United Nations Global Compact since 2010, as well as on previous CSR plans and organizational policies that promote its responsible and sustainable operation in the long term.

The IIl plan is based on compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), and its strategic lines have been defined after the preparation of a SWOT analysis and a detailed study of the SDGs that are directly related to the activity inherent to the mutual company, as a collaborating entity with Social Security, identifying four strategic axes that cover the key areas of focus:

  • The progress of health and well-being: Generate positive social impact in terms of health and well-being, in its broadest sense (physical, emotional, social, environmental, etc.), and promote innovation and progress to contribute to the better development of our activity.
  • Commitment to people: Ensure socially responsible management of people, providing safe and stimulating environments, developing their projection to provide innovative solutions and promote socially responsible behavior responsible.
  • Protection of the environment: Contribute to the fight against climate change and the protection of the environment, through measures that promote responsible consumption, energy efficiency and the reduction of emissions and generation of waste.
  • Promotion of transparency and good corporate governance: Ensure the ethical and responsible behavior of the Mutual and all its members in the different areas of action, in accordance with the express commitment to respect Human Rights and good corporate governance practices. 

All of this brought together under a transversal objective, Alliances for the establishment of commitments with other associations, organizations and institutions, which without constituting a strategic axis in itself, is a firm purpose, the achievement of which facilitates progress in the fulfillment of the remaining strategic axes.
