Subsidies in Andalusia in matters of Prevention
The Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA) published last week the Resolution of June 14, 2022, of the General Directorate of Labor and Labor Welfare, by which subsidies are called for the year 2022, under a competitive competition regime for micro, small and medium-sized companies, for the development of risk prevention projects labor.
The incentives that range between1,200 and 15,000 euros may cover up to 75% of the investments made by companies and will be used to finance two lines of aid. On the one hand, aid is established to finance activities and projects that contemplate investments aimed at incorporating in companies preventive improvement measures, such as the replacement of old machinery existing in work centers, the incorporation of specific facilities for the control of contaminants of a chemical, physical or biological nature, safety adaptations of work equipment and machinery, or the acquisition of intelligent systems for the active control of the protection of workers, among others. others.
On the other hand, a second aid is established for initiatives and projects to improve the integration of prevention in companies, which facilitate compliance with regulations, as well as the implementation of innovative projects and good preventive practices. Included in this section are training plans, ergonomic and psychosocial studies, R&D&I projects aimed at improving working conditions, preventive diagnoses on emerging risks and first implementations of occupational health and safety management systems.
The execution period of the first line is 6 months, while that of the second line is 12 months and for this call, priority will be given to projects or initiatives aimed at the implementation of collective measures for the protection of the risk of falls from height for works on fragile surfaces, including permanent greenhouses, projects for the implementation of protective measures of the risk of exposure to silica and other carcinogens, mutagens and teratogens, projects for the implementation of measures for the elimination and/or risk reduction linked to occupational asthma, or projects for the implementation of measures for the elimination or reduction of the risk by noise exposure in metal carpentry and manufacturing of metal structures activities.
The deadline to request them will be extended for one month, and applications must necessarily be registered electronically through the Virtual Office of the Employment Department of the Junta de Andalucía.
