Subsidies in Navarra regarding prevention

The Government of Navarra has opened the application period for two calls for aid to promote ordinary occupational risk prevention actions or under a collaborative format with the aim of reducing workplace accidents, for which the focus is on small and medium-sized companies with less than 100 workers.

The first call is aimed at promoting ordinary actions to prevent occupational risks in companies with a workforce of less than 50 workers and has the objective of improving health and safety conditions through information actions, technical assistance, training design and promoting compliance with regulations on the prevention of occupational risks. Applications may be submitted until next August 27 electronically.

The second call seeks to promote the development of the culture of occupational risk prevention in companies through actions carried out by the figure of the territorial prevention delegate and the application period is open until next August 30. Eligible projects must be presented in a group, made up of a business organization and a union organization. 

In the distribution of subsidies, it will be taken into account that the actions are carried out in companies in the region with a staff of up to 100 people and with the condition that at least 20% of the companies must have less than 6 workers, at least 75% of the companies must have less than 50 workers, 40% of the companies must be located outside the Pamplona region and at least 50% of the Companies will belong to one of the first 10 CNAE determined as priorities by the Institute of Public and Occupational Health of Navarra in 2023 such as agriculture, livestock, hunting and related services, food industry or manufacturing of iron and steel products, among others.
