Subsidies in the Canary Islands regarding prevention

The Official Gazette of the Canary Islands published on August 4 the Order of June 27, 2025 of the Ministry of Tourism and Employment by which subsidies are called under a competitive competition regime, aimed at carrying out occupational risk prevention activities for the year 2025, with the deadline for submitting applications being one month from August 5.

The annex to the aforementioned order includes the indicative list of topics for eligible activities on the expenses provided for in article 18 of the regulatory bases and which are based on two types of actions:

• Information actions:  will be those that seek to disseminate among workers and employers the principles of preventive action against occupational risks or the specific rules for the application of such principles.
• Technical assistance actions: will be those that are aimed at the study and resolution of problems, derived from the practical and material application of preventive actions. Projects with a special vision in small companies will be valued.
