Subsidy in Cantabria regarding prevention

The Official Gazette of Cantabria has published an extract of the Order of the Ministry of Employment and Social Policies EPS/ 23 /2020, of August 12, 2020, which calls for subsidies aimed at reducing workplace accidents through the improvement of health and safety conditions at work due to Covid-19.

Beneficiary entities:

Micro, small and medium-sized companies with registered office or proven work center in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, which carry out the actions regulated in this rule in work centers located in this Autonomous Community, can benefit from these subsidies, except for companies in the sectors excluded from the scope of application of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1407/2013, of December 18, 2013, relating to the application of articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the functioning of the European Union.

Subsidized actions:

Promote the improvement of health and safety conditions at work through the following lines:

a) Acquisition of personal protective equipment against biological risk, due to Covid-19.

b) External assistance for disinfection of equipment, facilities and people due to Covid-19, in accordance with the instructions given by the competent authorities.

c) Investments for the adaptation of jobs through adequate protection to prevent contagion by Covid-19.

d) Design and installation of general ventilation systems due to Covid-19.

Amount of aid and deadline:

The financing of this call will be made from the following budget credits included in the Cantabria Law 4/2019, of December 23, on the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria for the year 2020. Application 15.00.494N.471, support program for the prevention of occupational risks, for a maximum amount of 600,000 euros, for the subsidy lines contemplated in sections a) and b) and for a maximum amount of 476,397.47 euros, for the subsidy lines contemplated in sections c) and d).

The grant submission period will begin the day after the publication of the extract and will end on October 9, 2020.
