Technical Conference: "Approaching 30 years of the Prevention Law"

On February 28, the INSST, together with the Fundación Mapfre and with the collaboration of ANEPA, ASPREN, AESPLA and AMAT, will participate in this year's edition of SICUR 2024 the Technical Conference “Getting closer to 30 years of the Occupational Risk Prevention Law”, a conference in which the vision of the Public Administrations, the perspective of the Social Agents, as well as the approach of the Prevention Services of Companies, will be addressed throughout all these years since the Law was approved.

In Spain, the Occupational Risk Prevention Law, which is about to turn 30 years old, allowed the European framework to be adopted within our borders. In this way, this standard established the basic body of guarantees and responsibilities necessary to establish an adequate level of health protection for the working population. This legal framework made it possible to undertake a profound change in the national occupational health and safety system that has been developed to this day.

This conference, aimed at occupational risk prevention professionals, workers and companies, among others, aims to debate the past, present and future of our Prevention Law through the vision of the different actors that participate in it: public administrations, social agents, prevention services and companies.
