Thanks to all the mutual insurance workers (AMAT)

AMAT, Association of Work Accident Mutual Insurance Companies, wanted to recognize the unknown and valuable work carried out during this terrible pandemic by the group of approximately 20,000 workers of the 19 Social Security Collaborating Mutual Insurance Companies in this country.

Our usual work is to treat patients and pay benefits derived from work accidents and occupational diseases, helping mutual companies to prevent them.

2020 and its pandemic have brought us all new forms of work and tasks entrusted by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration.

The Mutuals that had hospitals, like the Hospital Fraternidad Muprespa Habana, we have welcomed COVID patients. Being traumatological references, we have made every effort to save the greatest number of patients admitted successfully.

We have recorded hundreds of CATA requests. We have faced the payment of thousands of Self-Employed Cessation of Activity benefits derived from COVID-19. We have updated data, templates, created training and informative content. We have helped hundreds of advisors overwhelmed by the flood of doubts and requests...And we continue to collaborate with society and the administration, providing our nursing professionals who will begin to vaccinate against COVID, because it is our vocation to serve.
