The meeting of the jury of the Escolático Zaldívar Awards held
Last Thursday the jury meeting for the Escolático Zaldívar Awards organized by Fraternidad-Muprespa was held. We have felt enormous gratitude for having received such interesting projects, so the jury's decision to choose the winning applications is not going to be an easy task.
These awards, which bear the name of the founder of our Mutual Fund, aim to recognize the good preventive practices carried out by our mutual companies in the field of occupational safety to reduce occupational accidents and occupational diseases. Last year, due to the pandemic, the awards were postponed and it is now that the applications submitted and their corresponding evaluation by the jury members have been resumed.
We will soon announce the date of the awards ceremony where we will reveal the names of the brand new winners!
The jury of the Escolático Zaldívar awards is composed of:

For this edition, it is worth noting that the bases of the awards have been renewed with important new features, one of the most notable being the creation of 5 categories by theme, with a first prize and up to three honorable mentions in each one, such as:
- PLUS PREVENTION: recognition of preventive improvement actions aimed at reducing occupational accidents and occupational diseases in one of the five major areas that make up occupational risk prevention: occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, applied psychosociology or health surveillance.
- SAFE MOBILITY: recognition of actions and good practices in road safety, aimed at reducing work-related traffic accidents.
- TALKING ABOUT PREVENTION: recognition of the work of communication, dissemination and promotion of prevention both internally within the company and externally.
- WALKING TOWARDS WELLBEING: recognition of programs and projects to promote healthy habits among workers.
- WE FEEL PREVENTION: recognition of good inclusive preventive practices related to the integration of the gender perspective, active aging or workers with different abilities, as well as preventive practices that address the preventive challenges of the future and the use of new technologies applied to the improvement of working conditions.
In addition, as a novelty there are also two extraordinary awards:
- EXTRAORDINARY AWARD FOR PROFESSIONAL CAREER CAREER TO that person who stands out for his or her extensive experience and career in the world of occupational risk prevention.
- SPECIAL AWARD TO THE ENTITY especially committed to the dissemination and promotion of occupational risk prevention.
