The sixth edition of FRATERTALKS celebrated: "AESLEME: 30 years for and for road safety", with Mar Cogollos
Coinciding with the III Workplace Road Safety Week organized by Cogollos, general director of AESLEME (Association for the Study of Spinal Cord Injury).
The objective of AESLEME is to prevent accidents, through prevention and awareness campaigns, as well as to reduce the number of serious injuries and deaths of traumatic origin, through Road Safety Education campaigns and to provide comprehensive support and assistance to people with disabilities, their families and friends. And on the other hand, raise awareness among the population about the consequences of accidents and problems (physical, psychological and social) that people with disabilities face and improve the socio-labor integration of people with disabilities: training them and trying to incorporate them to work in the association.
Mar Cogollos shared with us his interesting point of view on the aspects that most influence road safety, focusing especially on the necessary awareness-raising and sensitization work when driving safely.
If you were not able to attend the live show, you have a new opportunity to see it below:
And for the last FRATERTALK of the year, the next December 18 at 10am we will talk about one of the most important socio-labor changes that this has brought us 2020: teleworking. Although we are now somewhat more familiar, working from home is posing a challenge at a preventive level but also at a legal level and is generating some controversy and confusion. What occupational risks exist now that workers have exchanged the office for their living room? Does the concept of a work accident change when teleworking? How can risk assessments be done for staff working remotely? Will musculoskeletal disorders increase because many workers are using non-ergonomic furniture? What are the most important aspects of the new teleworking law?
We will try to shed some light on these and other unknowns in our next FRATERTALK which we have titled “Teleworking: new way of working, new regulatory and preventive framework”. For this we will have three experts from our house: Rafael Doménech, Director of the Center for Legal Advice and Services, Eduardo Castro, Director of Economic Benefitsand David Revillo, PRL consultant in the Department of Prevention and Development of Health Culture. A 100% Fraternidad-Muprespa FRATERTALK! You can register HERE. We are waiting for you!
