The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) has launched the research project: "The health and social care and occupational safety and health (OSH) sector" which runs from 2022 to 2026 and which aims to provide evidence-based knowledge on the various challenges faced by the sector in regarding the health and safety of its workers, in order to raise awareness and guide the policy development process.

This year, a specific section has been created on the European Agency's website where the main conclusions of the research project will be compiled, which will be updated periodically and completed with new resources and publications.

It should be remembered that the health and social care sector is one of the largest in Europe and makes an important contribution to European society, both in terms of the general health and well-being of citizens and in economic terms.
