Traffic presents videos to raise awareness of accidents to road workers

In the last five years, 561 people have died after being run over on the road, 26 of them crane or road maintenance workers who were working at the time of the accident. In addition, so far this year, 2 of the 30 people run over on interurban roads were road workers.

For all of the above, the General Directorate of Traffic has launched some videos to raise awareness of accidents to road workers in which an agent from the Civil Guard traffic group and a crane driver narrate in first person their experience as workers on the road.

Under the hashtag #ProtégelosEnRoad, they intend to warn of the importance that as drivers we respect the rules to guarantee their safety.
