V International Congress of Safety and Health at Work of Osalan

The Basque Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Osalan) turns 30 and to celebrate this anniversary they are organizing the V International Congress of Safety and Health at Work that will take place on April 24 and 25, 2023 at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao.

The motto chosen for the congress is: "Taking on challenges, joining efforts" taking as the central axis the idea that all agents involved in prevention are necessary to advance on the path towards the proposed objective, which must be to improve the knowledge, participation and demand for the prevention of occupational risks of the society.

The objective of the congress is to be a meeting place to continue advancing knowledge about safety and health at work and to share experiences in improving the prevention of occupational risks. The organizers have put the emphasis on participation, trying to accommodate workers and their representatives, employers and their associations, prevention professionals, prevention services, public organizations and entities also in the field of assistance and social security.

The presentations and interventions will take place in four simultaneous rooms and start on April 24 with the participation of institutional collaborations, then topics such as psychosociology, ergonomics, design and diversity, gender, digitalization or road safety will be discussed in the different tables and presentations. In the second day on the 25th, issues such as occupational cancer, biological agents, nanoparticles or quality in health surveillance will be discussed.
