VI Meeting of the Spanish Network of Healthy Companies

For almost a decade in our country, the Healthy Companies project has been underway, inspired by the work carried out by the European Network for the Promotion of Health at Work, and with the objective of the National Institute of Safety and Health at Work to recognize the work of companies in the field of improving the health and well-being of their workers, as well as promoting the culture of health and the exchange of business experiences.

The project is still fully in force and proof of this is the event held on December 3, which was the VI Meeting of the Spanish Network of Healthy Companies (REES) organized by the INSST, O.A., M.P. and the Canarian Institute of Labor Safety (ICASEL).

As new for this edition, the diploma of recognition of good practices in health promotion awarded by the REES technical evaluation committee and the  recognition of a healthy and sustainable company in health promotion at work was awarded.

Under the title: “Promotion of health at work and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” in the conference analyzed the contributions that health action in companies makes to the achievement of the SDGs, with the aim of continuing to promote the culture of health, exchange experiences to face the challenges of the 2030 Agenda, and contribute to a safe, healthy, sustainable and supportive business fabric.
