Work on roofs: the important thing is to get down alive

The National Institute for Safety and Health at Work (INSST) has launched these days the campaign: "Work on roofs: the important thing is to get off alive."

The campaign aims to reduce workplace accidents due to falls from roofs and roofs, which cause a high number of deaths and serious injuries every year, and is aimed at companies and self-employed workers who carry out work on roofs and the owners of buildings that contract these activities.

Two brochures have also been prepared that incorporate messages to raise awareness and increase the technical knowledge of the building promoters/owners and contractors who carry out this type of work.
