A new edition of Fratertalks held: Investing in rest, investing in health.
On February 25, Fraternidad-Muprespa held a new edition of Fratertalk to talk in this case about the importance of taking care of our rest to also take care of our health.
Currently getting adequate rest is not an easy task as there are numerous enemies that threaten it: an agenda full of tasks to complete, sleeping on personal and/or work concerns, lack of a routine in our schedules, work stress, consumption of stimulants such as caffeine or energy drinks or... of course! that incomparable companion that is almost part of ourselves like the mobile phone and that makes us hyperconnected until just before we fall asleep.
And, as much as it may be difficult for us to accept it, our body's capacity is not infinite and adequate rest is essential to maintain a good level of health, not to mention those jobs that require a high degree of concentration (operating machinery, driving...) and that a lack of rest can lead to a______work accident.
___HTMLTAG29___To talk about these and other issues we had the pleasure of having Doctor Javier Albares, doctor specializing in clinical neurophysiology and sleep medicine and also director of the Sleep Unit at the Teknon Clinic in Barcelona.
