A new edition of Fratertalks held: Mental health, making visible and destigmatizing
On December 17, Fraternidad-Muprespa held a new edition of Fratertalks to talk on this occasion about an increasingly widespread illness: depression and mental health problems. Not in vain does the World Health Organization (WHO) estimate that more than 300 million people around the world suffer from depression and other mental disorders and it is expected that by 2030 it will be the main cause of illness.
Sara Reyes Martín, psychologist expert in family and systemic therapy and pre-doctoral researcher at IBIMA (Biomedical Research Institute of Málaga), shared, among other things, the factors that can cause a person to develop depression, how we can help a worker who is suffering from it and what the company can do for the emotional well-being of its workers.
