On March 25, Fraternidad-Muprespa celebrated the twentieth edition of Fratertalks, on this occasion to talk about the most common uncertainties and doubts that exist around occupational diseases, starting with its own definition, going through its diagnosis, its assessment and what is most important: its PREVENTION.

If something characterizes occupational diseases, it is their slow, silent and gradual nature of the damage they cause to the worker's health, which makes them a silent threat, since it may be the case that for a long time they are not well diagnosed, their true origin is not known or even that the worker has become accustomed to living with pain without finally finding a cause for their pathology.

To talk about such an interesting topic we had the pleasure of having two experts like:

  • José Ignacio Mora, director of the I.T Care Coordination and Control Center of Fraternidad-Muprespa.
  • Montserrat García Gómez, head of the Occupational Health Area of the Ministry of Health.

If you were not able to attend the live show, you can watch the Fratertalk video below:

And in the next Fratertalk...

We invite you to the next edition of Fratertalks that will take place next April 22 at 10 a.m. where we will talk about fear management, leadership and decision making.

Can a person get used to fear? What factors influence a worker to stop being afraid of suffering a work accident? What is the fine line that makes a decision lead to a good or bad consequence? How can we exercise leadership in PRL?

To talk about all this we will have the pleasure of having an expert who, due to his profession, has been exposed to extreme situations, where leadership, fear management and decision making are vital to not put your life at risk. This is Julio de la Iglesia, TEDAX (Explosive Deactivation Specialist Technician), coach and author of the book “Fear is for the brave”.

You can register HERE. We are waiting for you!
