Fraternidad-Muprespa has participated on March 26 in the webinar organized by the Spanish Society of Occupational Traumatology, SETLA about "Tendinopathies of the elbow and wrist. It is not always what looks like".

This conference stood out for its great reception with more than 1,400 registered, and it addressed various aspects of this type of pathology from a multidisciplinary point of view, both in the clinical and work settings, bringing the focus to any health profile of the professionals involved in the treatment.

The day began with experts in elbow pathology in which Fraternidad-Muprespa participated and continued in the second part of the session with the wrist.

Representing the Mutual Fund, Dr. José Ignacio Mora Blanco, director of the IT Care Coordination and Control Center, at the table on Tendinopathies of the elbow with the presentation on "The medical-legal intricacies of the epicondylitis/epitrochleitis".

Dr. Mora commented on the complexity of the diagnosis and its relationship with the occupational disease, explaining the criteria and the difficulties that underlie the invisibility that AT sometimes produces, due to lack of knowledge of personal history and non-work factors. He highlighted the need to know the tasks performed by the worker, not just the occupation, as well as the importance of the company's prevention services transmitting information about exposure to risk factors. He also pointed out that the use of the Help Guide for the Assessment of Occupational Illnesses of the INSS is essential.

Attendees were able to ask their questions at the end of each of the blocks into which the talk was divided and generated an interesting debate with enriching conclusions on how to approach the treatment of these two tendinopathies.
