Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in the 24th National Congress of Hospitals and Health Management of SEDISA
The Spanish Society of Health Directors (SEDISA) has held the 28th, 29th and 30th of May in Zaragoza the 24th National Congress of Hospitals and Health Management .
In this edition the president of the congress, Carmen Vicente Gaspar, has highlighted the objective of “Leading an increasingly Human Transformation with excellence in management”. The meeting discussed topics such as the evolution of digital transformation, value-based management, generative AI, the need for revolution in health infrastructures, responsibility with the environment and the 2030 Agenda, as well as the analysis of specific measures to guarantee the sustainability of the Health System in the next decade, with innovation as the driving force of the Transformation in Health Management.
Representing the Mutua, Sagrario Mayoralas, manager of the Fraternidad-Muprespa Havana Hospital, participated, presenting the communication “A Sustainable Hospital is possible”, carried out together with Álvaro Minuesa, head of the Traumatology Service, Caridad Amador, director of Nursing at the FM Habana Hospital, Eva Manzano and director of the Department of Health Management.
During his speech, Mayoralas explained how health infrastructures with a reduced environmental impact were incorporated in the construction of the hospital, and how the results obtained reinforce the need to promote clean technologies, incorporating in hospital management sustainable resources that allow maximum energy use and significant cost savings, reconciling clinical excellence and environmental responsibility. The Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital is a model of sustainability that serves as an example to other hospital centers and as a solution for a more sustainable and resilient health system.
