Fraternidad-Muprespa participates in the Barcelona International Arthro Shoulder Surgeries

Fraternidad-Muprespa has been present at the BIASS, Barcelona International Arthro Shoulder Surgeries 2023 which took place from November 29 to December 1 at the Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower Convention Center, this international event shoulder arthrosurgery, is the event that brings together in Barcelona recognized experts in this specialty from Europe and the USA to share the most avant-garde techniques in open and arthroscopic surgery, through sessions with live surgeries from the Bellvitge Hospital, conferences and surgeries in re-live format, clinical cases and featured debates.

The Dr. Álvaro Minuesa, head of the Traumatology Service at the Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital, has shared with the attendees his experience in the “Biceps smash cuff augmentation” technique with a surgery in re-live format (recording of a real surgery edited for the conference) explaining the characteristics of this type of biceps cuff augmentation surgery with autograft.

The experience has been a success and has aroused great interest with a large number of attendees attracted to learn about the benefits of this technique.
