Infographic Golden Rule 4: systematize the organization
We continue with the series of infographics that describe each of the golden rules and that make up the Vision Zero campaign. In this case we will talk about golden rule 4: guarantee a safe and healthy system, be well organized.
It is about systematizing the organization, the health and safety management system will allow continuous improvement and greater profitability of the company. In the infographic, in a schematic and visual way we break down the aspects that we consider most relevant of this very important rule.
The processes that make up the fabric of a business or company must contain a small part related to health and safety. If we implement this seed from the beginning by standardizing the processes, we will discover that health and safety is not only part of the company's policy, printed and posted at the entrance, but is also part of the company's DNA. As we see in the document we present now, it is not about making large expenses in infrastructure or hiring, but about taking small steps. For example, in meetings of all types we use the first five minutes to discuss some security aspect. Another example, there are minimum safety requirements that subcontractors must meet, in this way we extend good health and safety policies outside the company.
We also consider it important to emphasize that it is not about making procedures or risk assessments that no one reads, it is about bringing the risks and their corrective measures closer to all workers, a generic risk assessment is not worth it, it is about personalizing and studying the real risks that the company has.
From Fraternidad-Muprespa we encourage you to continue with the exciting path of cultural change towards the goal of zero harm and for this we make available to our associated companies the resources that they can find on the web previene and the experience of our consultants in risk prevention labor who will advise and guide you.
