Informative talk "Activating Vision Zero" at Fraternidad-Muprespa Cantabria
Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, held an informative talk last Tuesday entitled “Activating Vision Zero” at the provincial directorate of Santander. Ignacio Carreras, provincial director of the Mutua in Cantabria, opened the session by thanking people for attending the event and introducing the new program to improve Fraternidad-Muprespa's accident rate based on the global campaign of the International Social Security Association in collaboration with the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work.
Later he gave way to the risk prevention technician Ricardo Alonso who gave a presentation in which he explained the benefits of the Activating Vision Zero program, emphasizing the integration and involvement of all people in performing a job with 0 harm to health through the development of commitment, communication, culture and learning as a way to achieve it.
At the end of the session, an interesting debate was generated about how to put the seven golden rules of said program into practice. This session was attended by representatives of companies from Cantabria who were very sensitive to the prevention of occupational risks.
