"Nanomaterials: an invisible risk", the topic of our next Fratertalk
In the next edition of Fratertalks we reach the twenty-ninth edition of our virtual space for knowledge and debate on the main topics of occupational health and safety and we will talk about NANOMATERIALS.
It will be e___l Friday March 31 at 10:00 a.m. with the title of :"Nanomaterials: an invisible risk” and we will have the presence as a guest by José Antonio Pérez Calvo, Health & Safety Coordinator at the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
Throughout the 21st century, nanomaterials and nanotechnology are revolutionizing the world of science, industry and our daily lives. We are talking about tiny particles, invisible to the human eye, which, however, are present in our daily lives in a multitude of everyday products such as clothing, cosmetics, mobile phones, food, medicines, leisure, decoration...
It is a field full of opportunities that can improve our lives, but its use is so widespread and the possible scenarios of occupational exposure are so numerous that it is currently unknown exactly whether it may pose a risk to health, safety and the environment that is necessary to know.
