What to expect from the Mutual Fund in case of a common illness?
The Mutual Fund pays the temporary disability benefit derived from common contingencies to those self-employed workers and workers from associated companies that have entrusted it with the management of this contingency. This is a daily subsidy that covers the worker's loss of income caused by a common illness or non-work accident, contemplated within the benefits of the Social Security System.
In this case, the doctors of the Public Health Service will be responsible for health care and the issuance of their discharge and discharge reports, but the Mutual Collaborators with Social Security, such as Fraternidad-Muprespa, are in charge of determining the right, suspension, cancellation or termination of the financial benefit received.
The Mutual Fund manages the payment of your leave, and must maintain control and monitoring while your temporary disability situation continues. We have been given the role of ensuring that benefits are not misused.
That is why our staff will contact you to assess your situation. You will be asked to provide us with medical reports on your current state of health and you may be scheduled for an examination by our medical staff.
But also, in cases where it is possible, Fraternidad-Muprespa will make available diagnostic tests and treatments that can speed up your healing process to avoid unnecessary waiting times and achieve a quicker recovery.
Monitoring can be carried out by attending in-person examinations at our centers or by telephone. This will depend on your condition and the information we obtain from the medical reports you provide us.
Likewise, when our professionals consider that you are in optimal conditions to return to your job, they will make a medical discharge proposal that will be managed by the Public Health Service.
Yes, it is mandatory to attend the appointment assigned for recognition.
As indicated in Article 175 of Royal Legislative Decree 8/2015, failure to appear for the medical examinations and examinations of the Mutual Funds collaborating with Social Security will produce the precautionary suspension of the financial benefit, and it must be verified whether or not it was justified. If your absence has not been reliably justified within 10 business days, the right to temporary disability benefit may be terminated.
The reason is to better understand your health status. This will allow in some cases to avoid having to go for recognition.
The recipients of your reports are the Fraternidad-Muprespa health professionals in charge of monitoring them; In no case will this information be transferred to your company.
