Participation of Dr. del Monte in the 10th Congress of the AEA-SEROD

On May 10, 11 and 12, the 10th Congress of the AEA-SEROD was held in A Coruña, a congress that hosts the 40th Congress of the Spanish Arthroscopy Association (AEA) and the 41st Congress of the Spanish Knee Society (SEROD), as well as the 31st Nursing Course in Arthroscopy and Knee, holding a joint event in which experts from different areas have shared their knowledge with a global vision of the pathology of this joint, adding topics such as sustainability in our operating rooms, their efficiency, or the comparison between the professional situation in Spain and the rest of Europe.

The Dr. Gabriel del Monte Bellido, traumatologist at the Shoulder Unit of the Hospital la“Rotator cuff injury in a middle-aged patient.”

In this intervention, Dr. Del Monte has held a workshop explaining how we explore the shoulders of our patients, providing videos focused on the pathology of instability, rotator cuff injury and glenohumeral rigidity.

We had a model to be able to carry out the exploration "in situ" which allowed a large number of attendees to make comments and ask questions

In the second table in which he participated with the title “Joint AEA/SECHC table. I used to do that through arthroscopy but I have stopped doing it like that” he has shared a presentation on “Surgery of Subscapular Cuff Repair” pointing out that it is “a technique that is already well established but that some traumatologists have abandoned to perform it arthroscopically.”
