The National Institute for Safety and Health at Work has presented this summer the document titled: "Report on self-employed workers, sociodemographic profile and workplace accidents, year 2020".

The work provides information about this group by analyzing its sociodemographic profile, based on the Active Population Survey (EPA) of 2020 and together with the accident report, a section is incorporated with the social security affiliation data of this group of workers, by sex and economic activity. The rest of the information that describes the sociodemographic profile of this group (age, occupation, educational level) is obtained from the survey data.

The report studies the accidents suffered by this working population in 2020, taking into account that descriptive variables of the work accident such as workplace, deviation, form or severity, provide essential information to know the accident rate of this group.
