SETLA magazine publishes two articles by doctors Ortega and Mirambell
The RETLA magazine, (Journal of the Spanish Society of Occupational Traumatology, SETLA) has published in the month's edition of June, two articles from the professionals of the Mutua.
The Dr. Antonio Ortega Díaz de Ceballos, head of the Internal Medicine Unit of the Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital, has developed the clinical case with the title "Nirmatrelvir/Ritonavir for the treatment of Covid-19 in real life in a mutual labor hospital. About a case", a study that received the award for the best oral communication at the XXI National Congress of the Spanish Society of Occupational Traumatology, SETLA, held in Valencia in 2022.
In the article, Dr. Ortega encourages the need for a procedure that shortens the time to have Paxlovid available, since it is a very good antiviral for the treatment of acute Covid-19, with an 89% reduction in hospitalizations or deaths.
The work was carried out in close collaboration with Drs Hevia, Ordóñez and Batres of the Spine Unit, with Emilia Roldán of Hospital Pharmacy of the HFMH and with Dr. Erice Calvo Sotelo of the Asepeyo Hospital Coslada.
