Surgeries increase by 17% and hospital admission is reduced to 3.5 days
The efficiency of the surgical activity and the high performance of the hospital is observed in the care data of the HFMH memory.
In 2022 the hospital occupancy rate reached 74% and surgical activity increased by 17% compared to the previous year with a total of 2,070 surgeries, of which 1,702 were traumatological. In addition, outpatient surgery increased by 70%, emergency surgery by 69%, pain treatments by 61% and plastic surgery by 49%.
Consultations are experiencing great growth, reaching 16,000 traumatology, 2,000 more than in 2021.
We have performed more than 2,000 CT scans, 3,000 ultrasounds, and almost 3,000 MRIs.
In terms of rehabilitation treatment, the number of patients has exceeded the previous year's figure by 120%, as well as the number of rehabilitation sessions reaching 190% more than in 2021.
The quality of care has been reinforced and despite the high activity of the hospital, the average hospital stay has been reduced to 3.5 days, demonstrating the effectiveness of the Mutua's professionals.
The global assessment of the hospital in 2022 is 97 points out of 100, we maintain the high level of satisfaction compared to the previous year, with 10% more participation.
