The essentials of safety culture
Coinciding with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, in Fraternidad-Muprespa we will celebrate our VI_HTMLTAG4_Prevention Week April 26 to 30, 2021 with the aim of generating a preventive culture among our associated companies.
This year our sixth edition has the motto:“In the face of workplace accidents, open your eyes. ACTIVATE VISION ZERO”, and we will try to achieve the objective of publicizing another way of approaching prevention, more effective and that can improve the competitiveness and productivity of the company. This new form of prevention seeks to generate responsible thinking in mutual companies, based on the values of promoting the health of their workers, promoting a change in attitudes and consequently improving safety behavior.
Throughout these days we are presenting different guides related to the Vision Zero culture, which is the central theme of our VI Prevention Week.
Today we want to focus on the document published by the French organization ISCI (Institute Pour Une Culture de Securité Industrielle) entitled The essentials of security culture.
The objective of this work is to share its concept of safety culture, offering through its pages the necessary elements to understand this concept and convey the message that improving this aspect in organizations is to improve the overall results of the company, sharing the most important risks and involving management in making decisions on this matter.
