The F-M Habana Hospital reduces the days per hospital admission to 3.89

Now that we take stock of 2020, we can assess the work of the Mutual Fund to adapt to the situation generated by the pandemic. In a minimum amount of time we managed to transform the Hospital hospital.

Once the hardest moments had passed, we were the first Hospital in the sector to resume surgical activity and continue taking care of the health of our patients and again, thanks to the efforts of all the professionals, we managed to make the extraordinary seem normal, managing to reduce the waiting list in record time.

Last year a total of 1,332 surgeries were performed, of which 87 were outpatient.

Our patients endorse us and this is shown by the global assessment results of the satisfaction surveys, because 95.54% of the participants value our service very positively.

The hospital occupancy rate for 2020 is very similar to that of the previous year, a sign of the intense work and even more so taking into account the more than 3 months of confinement, in which the activity of society was reduced to the essential.

We can affirm that the results have been good and we have worked to maintain the highest quality standards in the care of our patients, reducing the days per hospital admission to 3.89 , compared to 4.4 in 2019.

The integration of the hospital with the healthcare network of Fraternidad-Muprespa and the effort of all the professionals that make it up has been key in this work. A total of 877 patients were referred from the different territorial directorates for admission to the F-M Habana Hospital

Of the total number of interventions, 1,201 trauma surgeries have been performed, 80 pain treatment interventions, 13 general surgery interventions and 38 other specialties.
