The Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital exceeded 2,000 surgeries in 2022

With the implementation of the I Hospital Strategic Plan and the innovative infrastructures designed for the surgical block of the new hospital, a strategic line was developed that more easily integrated the connection of the hospital's specialists with the professionals of the healthcare network for the referral of patients to the Hospital, providing greater success in the recovery of our patients' pathologies.

In 2022, 2,059 surgeries were performed in the hospital, 46.7% of the Mutua's surgeries, with greater efficiency, better case tracking and sustainable cost efficiency.

In the last year the 7,000 emergencies and 5,000 hospitalizations. In addition, the number of diagnostic tests has increased, more than 5,000 between MRI and CT, avoiding the use of external means.

The First Strategic Plan of the Hospital, redefined the new Trauma Management Model, implementing a comprehensive, agile healthcare system with continuous information among professionals.

In this way, the manuals and protocols of the most frequent pathologies have been re-evaluated, allowing the network's healthcare physicians and out-of-hospital traumatologists to know the criteria for surgical indication and the continuity of care that must be carried out with each patient.
