Fraternidad-Muprespa has participated between Wednesday, May 22 and Friday, May 24 in the XI International and IV National Congress of Occupational Health and Risk Prevention, organized in Madrid by the Spanish Society of Health and Safety at Work, and under the motto Comprehensive health for debate! Advances in prevention strategies _ has the priority objective of responding to demands for scientific information as well as being a forum for debate and a meeting point for the exchange of knowledge.

Mar Morales, director of the Department of Prevention and Health Culture, spoke on the first day of the Congress. He did it at the table “Preventive culture. Have we made progress? Improvement proposals”. In his speech, with the title “The Mutual Collaborators with Social Security, agents of cultural change for SMEs”, he explained that the ORP Law was born with the purpose of promoting an authentic preventive culture, but when three decades are approaching since its enactment, there is still a long way to go and a reflection on why is necessary.

“We must carry out a critical analysis, so that in ten years we will not be considering the same thing,” said Morales, to then analyze the approach that Fraternidad-Muprespa shares with its associated companies, within the preventive activities of Social Security. “It is,” he explained, “a different approach, eminently practical, teaching tools that can be easily integrated into their activity, involving all the people in the organization to manage the incidents that occur in the best possible way, improving their preventive culture and creating the safety climate that is necessary to reduce their accident rate,” he concluded.

On Friday, she participated in the Congress Natalia Fernández companies".

Fdez. Laviada described what has changed so that business reputation now matters so much, and cited among other causes the crisis of trust and new consumer habits, new criteria of legitimacy in society and new social demands. He explained that reputation “is a gift or the quality perceived by others of our work and the good name of a company, its prestige and its internal and external recognition will also depend on this, with corporate well-being.”

“Reputation is an intangible asset with tangible results. Some intangibles only exist if they are in the public's mind, hence the importance of activating the recognition of a reality through communication and a basic reality, when there is coherence between what we are, what we do and what we say”, stated.

Lastly, Iván Fernández, prevention consultant of the Mutua, participated with the presentation "New technologies, well-being and health integral", in which it addressed the concept of comprehensive health based on three fundamental factors: activity, rest and diet. "All three have been influenced by new technologies, our physical activity has decreased and mental activity has skyrocketed. We are losing mental rest time due to hyperconnection. And our diet is less healthy because we are not able to control impulses or anxiety," he explained. All of this generates new health problems whose causes must be analyzed to find solutions, adapted to new technologies and new working conditions.
