We talked with the bullfighter Antonio Santana, about his recovery after being caught at the San Isidro Fair
On April 16, Antonio Santana suffered a knock during his work, causing him to be injured by a bull's horn in his right thigh, and although he lasted in the ring until the end of his performance, at the end of the celebration he was operated on in the Las Ventas infirmary and later transferred to the Hospital Fraternidad-Muprespa Havana where he wanted to share how his recovery is going.
First of all, how are you feeling?
Well, better than when I arrive, I was discharged today, so very happy.
You endured all the celebration after the goring, what was that moment like when you faced the pain?
Well, of course it hurts, but commitment is more important and pulls harder.
Do you hope to return to bullfighting soon?
If on June 9 I fight in Seville, now I have to do rehabilitation and I still have the staples, so I have to recover but I I will recover.
How was your stay at the Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana Hospital and the attention of our professionals?
Impeccable, unbeatable, the treatment from everyone, even the real food.
Everyone has treated me great, I can't say anything negative, they have treated me great... Glory Blessed!
Antonio has been discharged from the hospital this Thursday, May 19. We wish you a great recovery and hope to see you again soon in the squares.
