Conference of Fraternidad-Muprespa and the CGS of Burgos on the employment relationship after the IP declaration
Fraternidad-Muprespa and the Illustrious Official College of Social Graduates of Burgos, within the framework of the commemoration of the centenary of the Social Graduate profession in Spain, held this Tuesday the 18th an informative and technical day "The employment relationship after the declaration of a permanent disability (IP): job termination or necessary adjustment? Law 02/2025, of April 29 of interest in the socio-labor sphere.
Held in the emblematic Royal Monastery of San Agustín (Burgos), the event brought together a large representation of professionals from the sector: consultancies, agencies, companies, law firms and entities related to human resources management and Social Security, and focused on analyzing the legal and practical implications that arise after the recognition of an IP to a worker by the National Social Security Institute (INSS). The event was inaugurated by Benito Sáiz, p resident of the College, who highlighted the evolution and relevance of the profession over these hundred years and claimed the essential role of these professionals as legal advisors in socio-labor matters, experts in labor relations and human resources, as well as defenders of social justice in the judicial field.
He also stressed the importance of the association and invited reflection on the future challenges of the profession and its continuous commitment to society and the Spanish labor market.
On behalf of Fraternidad-Muprespa, Ana Lorenzo, coordinator of the entity's Economic Benefits Department, spoke, who addressed the complexities of the central topic of the day and carried out an analysis of the current regulatory framework, including the changes introduced by Law 2/2025, which eliminates the automatic termination of the employment contract by this law.
She especially emphasized the relevance of communication between company and worker, in line with current legislation and applicable jurisprudential doctrine. Her presentation provided guidelines and fundamental aspects on the obligations of companies and the rights of employees in this legal-labor scenario. Burgos, who with her disposition and experience resolved doubts and questions raised by attendees at the event, contributing to the success of the day. The event was closed by Carolina de Miguel, provincial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa in Burgos, thanking the high participation and reaffirming the commitment of both the Mutual Fund and the College to continuous training and support for the labor and business community. and professional updating to face the challenges of the socio-labor sector.
