Fraternidad-Muprespa earns almost 1,000 million euros during fiscal year 2016

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security,Fraternidad-Muprespa, reaches the 990 million euros of income with a 2% improvement compared to 2015.

The president,Carlos Espinosa de los Monteros and the managing director Carlos Aranda have presented the results of the last financial year, highlighting that the Mutual Fund has increased its income from fees by 2,79% regarding the 2015 collection.

Espinosa de los Monteros has emphasized that “The sector figures indicate that the trend of the economy in Spain continues to be positive, despite the fact that the results of the common contingency have been bad for the sector in general and therefore also for our Mutual Fund”.

Fraternidad-Muprespa demonstrates its capacity and solvency by contributing 45.8 million euros to the Social Security system, as well as an endowment of 9.4 million euros to the complementary reserve and social assistance.

Carlos Aranda highlighted in his speech that “The special benefits provided by the Mutual Fund, charged to the social assistance reserve, have been enhanced in 2016 and there is a firm intention to increase them in the coming years”. In 2016, Fraternidad-Muprespa has granted 824 grants, quantified at 1,308,149.39 euros, which represents an increase of 92,72% compared to 2015.
