Fraternidad-Muprespa recognizes SUEZ Spain for its low accident rate

The Mutual Collaborator with Social Security Fraternidad-Muprespa has recognized SUEZ Spain, at its facilities in Madrid, for the sum of good results in its commitment to the prevention of occupational risks and the reduction of occupational accidents in the different companies of the group, throughout the Spanish territory.
Fraternidad-Muprespa ha entregado a SUEZ el diploma acreditativo Bonus, correspondiente a los ejercicios comprendidos entre los años 2009-2016, regulado por el Real Decreto 404/2010. This recognition highlights the work carried out in terms of occupational risk prevention, seeking continuous improvement in working conditions each year. The application of new technologies and the digitalization of systems are helping the company to be at the forefront of advances in risk prevention.
In the last decade, SUEZ has managed to reduce employee accidents by one-sixth: this figure places the company at the bottom of accidents among companies in the Spanish water sector.
This incentive is delivered by the General Directorate of Social Security Management through Fraternidad-Muprespa, managing its proposals once compliance with the requirements established by current regulations has been verified.
In the case of SUEZ, since 2009, a total of 208 applications have been processed as favorable, distributed among 40 different companies in the group.
