Fraternidad-Muprespa presents its Digital Evolution Plan

For more than twenty years, Fraternidad-Muprespa has been implementing improvements aimed at making digitalization a priority and structural advance within the entity. It now presents its Digital Evolution Plan, within the current Strategic Plan. Technological evolution is essential to offer the best service, provide excellent healthcare and manage with total efficiency, thus putting the digital experience at the service of people.

What in other organizations is transformation, in Fraternidad-Muprespa it is evolution because more than two decades ago it began a strategic commitment to technology with its Integrated Management System, which was followed in 2001 by the first big data in the sector. In 2002, Mutua incorporated a corporate intranet and in 2004, for a better relationship with clients, it created the services Extranet, currently the Digital Office. In 2005, it undertook projects such as the paperless care center and the electronic medical record. It was also a digital pioneer by obtaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 certification for its information systems.

The Mutual's Digital Evolution is based on the change in procedures and policies supported by the use of new information and communications technologies, to make internal processes more efficient and bring information closer to the digital user.

The Fraternidad-Muprespa Digital Evolution Plan implements intelligent corporate management whose purpose is to offer a level of digitalization such that electronic means are the preferred means for the relationship between users and the Mutual Fund, in a simple and intuitive way. 

The project is based on guiding principles and facilitators of change, with which it improves the relationship with its mutual companies, protected workers, patients and collaborators, so that the quality of the service is optimized.

Some of the most relevant are the following:

  • Welcome Digital Pack: welcome documentation package for companies and consultancies with fundamental and personalized information.
  • Digitization of contact points: for procedures related to cancellations, delivery of flyers or prevention reports, among others.
  • Digital hospital. The F-M Habana Hospital is one of the most innovative healthcare centers in Europe due to its use of digital technology. 
  • The Patient Portal and the application Mi Frater Paciente, for patients' private access to their electronic medical records.
  • VNA-PACS. Tool that manages the flow of radiology and diagnostic imaging services in an integrated manner. 
  • Preventive digital content for workers and companies.
  • Development of management reports, available to mutual members through their Digital Office for the management of accidents and absenteeism.

The future is based on these advances, which will continue to bring disruptive changes, aimed at increasing autonomy and allowing the user to carry out 90% of the procedures through the internet and with mobile applications, fulfilling the Mutual Fund's commitment to continue incorporating innovative ideas, increasing capabilities and involving all actors in a global vision.
