​​​​On April 28, the World Day for Safety and Health at Work is celebrated and around this date Fraternidad-Muprespa launches the VII Prevention Week with the motto: "Time to lead "prevention" in which we have set out to continue promoting the philosophy Vision Zero focusing on the first golden rule of taking leadership and working in line with this year's ILO motto:“Acting together to build a culture positive health and safety.

This year we propose a series of actions, of a markedly digital nature, with the objectives of:

- Raise awareness among our associated companies toreduce workplace accidents through cultural change in organizations.

- Continue promoting alliances with organizations and institutions so that they join the Vision Zero campaign and promote cultural change under this paradigm.

- Make visible the alignment of preventive cultural change in companies and public organizations with the SDGs 3 and 8.

The events of the VII Prevention Week that will be held between April 22 to 28 will be the following:

FRATERTALK #21: "RED WIRE OR BLUE WIRE? WHEN LEADING IS THE RIGHT DECISION"

Can a person get used to fear? What factors influence a worker to stop being afraid of suffering an accident? What is the fine line that makes a decision lead to a good or bad consequence? How can we exercise leadership in PRL?

To talk about these issues we will speak with an expert who, due to his career, has been exposed to extreme situations, where leadership, fear management and decision making are vital to not put your life at risk. This is Julio de la Iglesia, TEDAX (Explosive Deactivation Specialist Technician) and Coach.

During the webinar we will talk about building a strong occupational health and safety culture that is constituted as one in which both management and workers value and promote the right to a safe and healthy work environment with inclusion, through the meaningful participation of all parties in the continuous improvement of OSH.

It is also one in which workers feel comfortable raising concerns about possible OSH risks or hazards in the workplace and management is proactive in collaborating with workers to find appropriate, effective and sustainable solutions.All of this requires open communication and dialogue based on trust and mutual respect.

EXHIBITION OF 20TH CENTURY WORK SAFETY POSTERS FROM APRIL 4 TO 29

Fraternidad-Muprespa en collaboration with the AXA Foundation, organizes this exhibition of valuable occupational safety posters from the 20th century in order to promote preventive culture.

The exhibition consists of 48 reproductions of posters from the 20th century whose theme is safety at work, prevention and occupational health, showing the evolution that the image of prevention has had during the last century.The exhibition makes available to the public an audio guide that allows, through a QR code printed on each poster, to listen to a brief explanation about each of the works via mobile phone, thus helping to contextualize both each artistic work and the entire exhibition.

GALALE OF DELIVERY OF THE IX EDITION OF THE ESCOLASTICO ZALDÍVAR AWARDS

On a day as important as the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, Fraternidad-Muprespa celebrates the award ceremony for the ninth edition of our Escolático Zaldívar Awards whose objective is to recognize best practices preventive measures aimed at improving safety and reducing work accidents and occupational diseases. 

During the event, the awards will be presented to the winners of the ordinary categories Plus prevention, Talking about prevention, Safe mobility, We feel prevention and Walking towards well-being.Likewise, the awards ceremony will be held for the extraordinary categories of professional career and entity especially committed to the _PRL
