How a self-employed person joins:
In order to join Fraternidad-Muprespa when registering with Social Security, you will opt for coverage of the economic benefit for Temporary Disability due to Common Contingencies together with coverage for Professional Contingencies and Protection for Cessation of Activity (CATA).
It will be necessary to complete the corresponding Form TA.0521 for registration in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers (RETA), reflecting the Mutual Fund you have opted for. Presenting this document at the corresponding Provincial Directorate of the Provincial Social Security Treasury.
The steps you must follow are:
- Complete the cancellation request document.
- Submit the termination request in duplicate to your current Mutual Fund before September 30 of the current year.
- Submit to Fraternidad-Muprespa a copy of the termination request sealed by the current Mutual Fund, until September 30 of the current year. The change will take effect on January 1 of the following year.
