DIGA/AIS Accessibility
Fraternidad-Muprespa is fully committed to the respect and defense of the rights of people with different abilities ; That is why one of our main objectives is to ensure that all healthcare centers that make up the network, “be accessible to everyone.”
In March 2015 we took the first step, we wanted to analyze all our centers to detect possible shortcomings in terms of their accessibility and thus be able to make the necessary improvements.
The Mutual Fund determined that the way to obtain this information was to undergo an audit that measured the degree of accessibility of each center. For this, we had the collaboration of the Foundation for Accessibility and Social Responsibility (formerly Shangri Foundation - la), which developed a measurement system of the degree of accessibility, called DIGA (Distinctive Indicator of the Degree of Accessibility) and which as of 2018 was renamed Accessibility Indicator ( AIS ).
The review of the centers regarding accessibility was carried out with the endorsement of the International Certifier IMQ (Istituto Italiano del Marchio di Qualita), which analyzed all the centers according to the technical specifications of the system.
The result is very satisfactory ; Today we have 90 audited healthcare centers , with 8 of them receiving the highest score. Special mention must be made of the AIS 1/2018 5-star certification that the new HFMH hospital on Paseo de la Habana in Madrid has achieved
It is important to highlight that the Entity works for improvement of accessibility in a continuous manner, with an annual review of all of them, which guarantees the maintenance of the certified conditions and/or the modifications made that allow improving the degree of accessibility.
Our commitment is to ensure that all centers in the healthcare network have at least a 3-star AIS badge that guarantees full physical accessibility.
The review-recertification of all audited centers s according to the AIS STANDARD (Accessibility Indicator System) 1/2018 and technical specifications ET-IMQ-AIS the is carrying out the Foundation for Accessibility and Social Responsibility , with the review and endorsement of the International Certification Company IMQ (Instituto Italiano del Marchio di Qualita) which endorses the AIS certification.
