Conference in León on innovation in Occupational Health and Safety with prevention consultants from Fraternidad-Muprespa
The León Occupational Health and Safety Center hosted a conference last Tuesday aimed at innovation in occupational risk prevention. To do this, it had the collaboration of Fraternidad-Muprespa and three other Collaborating Mutual Insurance Companies with Social Security.
The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Employment, Mariano Veganzones, was present at the event, in which, in a practical way and aimed at occupational risk prevention technicians, different strategies for reducing workplace accidents were presented.
Veganzones, accompanied by the general director of Labor and Occupational Risk Prevention, Fernando de la Parte, highlighted that the event is part of the training cycle to “promote a policy on awareness in the Occupational Risk Prevention” and added that through It seeks to “achieve a better internalization and promotion of preventive culture.”
About 80 attendees were able to learn first-hand about the proposals of each Mutual Fund, for which, in groups of 20, they accessed the different assigned spaces.
In Fraternidad-Muprespa, the prevention consultants Aritz Acebal, from the Provincial Directorate of Barcelona, and Víctor Fernandez, from León, offered a workshop “Tools in risk control at zero cost”, born from the “Lean” philosophy Manufacturing, the A3 Report and the One Point Lesson (LUP)”, which can be applied to the area of Safety and Health at Work.
They began by highlighting the work that the consultants do and describing their work with the companies they visit, as well as the needs they detect in terms of prevention.
Later, they explained what the LEAN philosophy consists of and how it is transferred to risk prevention. To do this, they organized a practical workshop with the attendees, divided into two groups, to whom the video of an accident was shown. Research was also made easier for them. Each group prepared an A3 Report and a LUP, and presented the work they had developed, which generated an intense debate among those attending.
At the beginning of the workshop, the counselor de Industry, Commerce and Employment passed through the space assigned to Ujidos, and with Mar Morales, director of the Department of Prevention and Development of Health Culture.
