Conference of the College of Social Graduates of Alicante and Fraternidad-Muprespa: IT and delegated and direct payments

Fraternidad-Muprespa participated on Tuesday, September 27, in the online conference "Temporary disability. Delegated and direct payments" organized by the College of Social Graduates of Alicante, with the virtual assistance of fifty labor advisors from across the province. Its president María Antonia Oliva Verdú has thanked the attendees for their participation and the Mutual Society for its willingness to disseminate this matter among the members.

María Elena Legaz Nieto, head of theTemporary Benefits Area of Fraternidad-Muprespa, has broken down In the first part of its presentation, the elements that define Temporary Disability (TI), what the contribution base and the regulatory basis are, analyzing each type of economic benefit according to the type of contingency, whether common and non-work accident, or work accident and occupational disease. It has also analyzed the existing differences in the calculation of the regulatory base according to the type of contract, whether full-time or part-time, focusing on cases of contract change in the month prior to medical leave, and in the cases in which it is possible to modify the regulatory base during the situation of temporary disability.

In the second part of her presentation, Elena has first analyzed the procedure for paying the IT financial benefit through delegated payment, including the exemption cases, as well as the procedure established by the General Treasury of Social Security for the claim of unduly compensated amounts. To conclude with the analysis of the procedure for paying the aforementioned benefit through direct payment, its situations and special regimes.

The day ended after the usual question time moderated by Eloy Ávila Lacalle, provincial director of the Mutua in Alicante, who thanked the president of the College for organizing the day and all the participants for attending the same.
