The councilors of Education and Social Services of the Tomelloso City Council, Nazareth Rodrigo and Montse Moreno, received representatives of Fraternidad-Muprespa this Thursday at the town hall. In this work meeting, the mutual society presented to both councilors its training proposals on occupational risk prevention available for public employees.

Jose Luis Agudo, Provincial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa, Antonio Martín, director of the Tomelloso Delegation, and Raúl Muñoz, Occupational Risk Prevention Technician of the mutual insurance company, described the characteristics of the “Road Safety Workshop with Immersive Virtual Reality”, whose objective is to change the driver's perception of risk from the human factor, without forgetting other factors that influence accidents, such as the vehicle and the road.

The workshop offers a theoretical part, adapted to the type of attendees, and through virtual reality allows the user to live driving experiences in different risk situations, in real time and without risks, using virtual reality glasses.

This workshop also seeks to make available to participants good practices to reduce accidents associated with traffic, which account for 11% of sick leave due to work-related accidents.
