Celebrated every year on the third Tuesday of March as World Social Day, society invites us to reflect on each person’s role in achieving the true common good.

This year’s theme is the International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW).“Building hope and harmony together: Harambee calls for unity in a divided society”

Harambee is a Swahili word meaning "together" or "together" and refers to everyone cooperating and contributing to a task, and is used in Africa to request cooperation to overcome challenges together.

“This call to build hope and harmony together reminds us that no challenge is too big as we move forward together.”In the words of IFSW President Joachim Mumba, who emphasized the role of social workers:"They are in every corner of society, working with communities facing adversity. We work with people to rebuild connections, build trust and resilience AUREN."

At Mu Tuan, we share the ethos of realizing an eco-social world through values such as customer service, employee engagement, awareness, efficiency, quality and innovation, ethics and corporate social responsibility.

Fraternidad-Muprespa The daily work of social workers as social security collaborators is largely reflected in the use of special benefits, which are essential to restore and maintain the daily life of workers who have suffered accidents at work.

In 2025, 600 special grants amounting to more than 800,000 euros were administered to improve patients and their surroundings who suffered as a result of workplace accidents.

47% of these benefits are used to provide assistance with the basic means of carrying out basic activities of daily living (home assistance, access to new technology, vehicle modifications, or removal of obstructions in the home). 31% is used to aid recovery and improve health. The remainder is used for other supports such as career reorientation and training for caregivers of people with severe disabilities.

Social workers are essential support in Mútua, they look after you, help you regain your energy and look after your social well-being. Social work encourages us to work for a shared future and allows us to do it "together".(Harambee).
