Monitoring of medical leave

Likewise, the Company can be provided with the means to obtain the necessary information on the evolution of workers on sick leave and the approximate deadlines for their recovery.

The medical and administrative structure of Fraternidad-Muprespa, together with the healthcare network of its own and subsidized centers, allows monitoring of the sick leave processes that are registered at the Mutual Fund in a special and effective way, as well as the supervision of the treatments carried out by injured people, achieving a notable reduction in sick leave periods.

This monitoring allows the Company to be offered information of interest about the evolution of the workers and the approximate recovery times.

The same medical monitoring is carried out for self-employed workers who have arranged contingencies with Fraternidad-Muprespa.

To this end, clinical sessions are held daily where the evolution of the patients is studied, making decisions regarding the therapeutic orientation to follow.

The Internal Committee for the Assessment of Disabilities, formed by the Medical Directorate, Legal Advice, Directorate of Benefits and Social Assistance, meets periodically to determine, in cases where therapeutic possibilities have been exhausted, the transfer to the E.V.I. (Disability Assessment Team of the National Social Security Institute), assessing the consequences and the possible degree of Disability of the injured.
