Fraternidad-Muprespa of Malaga collects the certificate of environmental sustainability
Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, represented by its provincial director in MalagaJosé Manuel Crespo Figuerola, delegation directorsCristina Rivera Hernandez y Andrés Ruiz Martínezand the DUE Dámaris Sánchez Girela, have been collected from the hands of the councilor for the Environmental Sustainability area of the Malaga City Council, Raul Jimenez, the certificate that certifies that the entity carries out its activity following appropriate environmental criteria.
Fraternidad-Muprespa of Málaga, located on Pacífico Street 62, has services such as an administrative center and assistance center for mutual members, insured workers, associated and self-employed companies. The entity is in the process of implementing three quality management systems.
The granting of the certificate culminates the work carried out by the Entity with the Environmental Advisory Center of the Malaga City Council, whose function is to provide free advice to companies to improve the sustainability of their work processes and reduce their impact on the environment.
The Councilor for Environmental Sustainability, Raúl Jiménez, has highlighted the commitment of the companies that have been joining this initiative, "which have opted to adjust their activity towards more efficient and responsible models and criteria from an environmental, economic and social point of view." As explained, this commitment involves the entirety of its business action: responsible purchasing, local suppliers, ecological products, separation at source and recycling of waste, reuse, energy efficiency, responsible consumption of water resources, energy, raw materials, environmental communication or sustainable mobility. “The accredited companies – Jiménez pointed out – have shown a clear willingness to assume these criteria in all their lines of action, thereby promoting responsible practices that are also exemplary.”
Companies certified with municipal environmental management and certification achieve new business opportunities and competitive advantages by offering another line of customer services framed in green employment, which consists of developing their activity while reducing the environmental impact. In addition, they achieve cost reduction and greater benefits.
