On November 15, a workshop on Road Safety with immersive virtual reality was held at Fraternidad-Muprespa in Barcelona, led by the Prevention technician from the Department of Prevention and Development of Health Culture at David Revillo.

The workshop has been presented by the provincial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa of Barcelona Jordi Batalla highlighting “the importance of work accidents that occur on the road and their impact on the company.”

Next Adrià Puigpelat Provincial head of the DGT in Barcelona continued with the presentation, providing data on the evolution of traffic accidents in recent years and the different campaigns carried out to reduce them.

Following the workshop program, David Revillo has taught it in a practical way, allowing attendees to use the virtual reality technique to simulate driving experiences in different environmental and personal conditions, which helps raise awareness of the importance of promoting responsible attitudes among workers and encouraging respect for traffic rules and good use of the roads, reducing the risk in driving in order to prevent unwanted consequences as much as possible.

Once the exhibition was over, Jordi Batalla thanked all attendees for the interest shown during the day.
