Adhesion of Fraternidad-Muprespa to the Social Pact against violence against women of the Principality of Asturias

On March 9, on behalf of Fraternidad-Muprespa,Natalia Fdez. Laviada, deputy general director of Quality, Prevention and Communication and Eva Ferrero, head of the Labor Relations and CSR area, have delivered to Almudena Cueto, general director of the Asturian Institute of Women and Youth Policies, of the commitment to action and the roadmap with which the accession to the Social Pact against violence against women in the Principality of Asturias.

The accession The ethical code guarantees commitment to the basic principles of equality between women and men and the explicit condemnation of gender violence.

The roadmap defines the key actions that the Mutual Fund will implement during the 2018-2021 period in favor of the fight against gender violence in the Principality of Asturias.

Objectives of the Social Pact:

• Cooperate effectively between existing institutions, organizations, associations, security forces and resources to adopt an integrated approach towards the eradication of violence against women.
• Establish prevention, protection and assistance actions within a global framework for women, sons and daughters of abused women.
• Protect women against all forms of violence and prevent, pursue and eliminate violence against women.
• Contribute to eliminating all forms of discrimination against women and promoting real equality between women and men.
