Fraternidad-Muprespa presents the book "Si fallar sum: human error and accidents" in Almería
Fraternidad-Muprespa, Mutual Collaborator with Social Security, presented last Thursday the book “Si fallar sum: human error and accidents” written by Manuel Lucas Sebastian and edited by Mutua itself. The presentation took place at the University of Almería. The day was inaugurated by Miguel Ángel Mañas, director of the Occupational Risk Prevention Secretariat of the University of Almería, who introduced all the participants at the table.
Mar Morales, director of the Department of Prevention and Development of Health Culture at He also stressed that ergonomics in all its aspects is a fundamental pillar in the prevention of occupational risks, giving examples of real cases that triggered accidents and how previous human reactions were analyzed.
José Joaquín Martínez, director of the Occupational Risk Prevention Center of Almería, presented the accident statistics of recent years, detailing which accidents could be due to human errors. Later he gave way to the author of the book and speaker of the day.
Manuel Lucas Sebastian, graduated in Psychology, with a specialty in Clinical Psychology, explained and delved into the importance of human behavior, its influence on accidents and what possibilities exist to correct it, as has been reflected in his work.
Finally,Sonia Medrano, Southern territorial director of Fraternidad-Muprespa, and Francisco Javier Lozano, General Director of Campus, Infrastructure and Sustainability of the University of Almería, closed the day, thanking all those attending for their presence.
